After work last weekend, we drove up to Washington's Puget Sound to visit friends for a shrimping trip. The family of our friend, Cam, has a large yurt overlooking Hood Canal, providing the perfect location for a weekend full of fun, friends, and fresh-caught shrimp! Such a hilarious weekend!

Some of our crew coming to shore after dropping the first of the shrimp pots in the morning. Shrimping is only allowed several times a year and when it does, the waters are filled with boaters dropping ship pots and hoping for the best. It can become quite a frantic scene!

Kate catches the winnings in a bucket.
Craig's turn to dump the shrimp.
Shrimp heads! You can see Chris removing the heads in the background.

While waiting for the pots to fill with shrimp, many of us spent time on the cobble beaches and enjoying the view.

On the final day, we kicked back and headed to the beach!
