Enjoying a break from the rain, but very cold temperatures, Kerri and I headed up the new trail at Mailbox Peak. This trail gained 4000 ft in ~4.5 miles, which is much easier on the legs than the old trail that covered the same elevation in 2 miles. It was a bright, beautiful day, but too cold to spend much time enjoying the views from the top.
